Wedding Three Sisters Bake Quarriers Village

HOORAY FOR LOVE!

I had been hearing about a beautiful place in Quarrier’s Village called Three Sisters Bake for quite some time. So, I was very excited when Nicole and Kris asked me to conduct their wedding ceremony there. Quarriers Village is a really pretty and historic hamlet situated just off the main road between Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm.

The wedding venue truly exceeded my expectations, and the stunning bride and groom blew me away when I saw them dressed in their Friday-best! As did the bride’s Sister and a famous comedienne friend, when they took to the floor to read their poems.

The Wedding Ceremony

We had worked hard, right up to the last minute perfecting the ceremony script, but it was worth it. What a pleasure it was reading to their 80 guests. We laughed, enjoyed the amazing music from their pianist, clapped and cheered as they kissed, ooo’ed and aaaa’ed at the lovely things they had written about each other in their ‘why they love each other’ section and shed a tear when the parent’s pledge was read out. We didn’t even notice the rain outside, because the warmth, smiles and bright colours were keeping us aglow inside. And this glow stayed with me all weekend after conducting the ceremony.

Poems, piano, Pimms, pretty dresses, passionate promises, paper pom poms – what else does one need?! If you have a dream, go for it. Fuze Ceremonies can help you to create it!
