The Scottish Wedding Awards celebrates the best of the Scottish Wedding Industry

Last week Creative Oceanic announced the finalists for the wedding specialist categories in the Scottish Wedding Awards 2014. Recognising and rewarding excellence in all aspects of business practice, the awards in their second year, will reward the talent and expertise of those in the industry that make the big day the best it can be.

Fuze Ceremonies, Arisaig has been shortlisted in the Wedding Planner –coordinator category for the North West Region. We will find out next week if we are to be crowned winners of our region at the glamorous ceremony being held in Glasgow. We would also be in the running to take away the prize for overall winner of the Wedding Planner –coordinator category should we win the regional title.

Morag Webster, company director says, “Winning the award would give us more recognition that we are a high quality service provider. The fact that our customers have nominated us makes this award very special. Winning also allows us to raise the profile of the Fuze Foundation.”

With a public voting system, the Scottish Wedding Awards is very much a celebration of local talent. Winners are a true reflection of quality and customer service as chosen by members of the general public. To enter the competition, dress makers, florists, photographers, caterers, and others throughout Scotland have been nominated by devoted clients that have experienced exceptional service. Nominations have come in from far and wide for an event which is destined to be a sparkling evening in the Scottish event calendar.

The awards will take place on 25th February 2014 at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow and promises to be a glittering affair. Hosting this glamorous evening will be Scottish radio personality Gina Mckie.

The official charity partner for this year’s event is the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, with donations raised on the night going straight to the charity. Make-A-Wish Foundation UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Since being established in the UK in 1986, they have granted over 7,800 wishes.

We are very thankful to be nominated as finalists at the Scottish Wedding Awards 2014 and feel very honoured to be part of such an exciting event. It will be a fantastic evening which will in turn support a great charity and we are very much looking forward to seeing how the night unfolds…so watch this space!
