The Fuze Foundation – Our Key Purposes
Purpose 1: Promoting Humanism
The Fuze Foundation is dedicated to promoting equality and diversity in society. We offer solemn and dignified Humanist Marriage and Funeral Ceremonies for those who share ethical Humanist beliefs. Our ceremonies align with the International Humanist and Ethical Union’s Declaration, ensuring a meaningful and inclusive experience.
Purpose 2: Embracing Diversity and Inclusivity
Celebrate life, embrace diversity, and inspire harmony with our inclusive Funeral Ceremonies. The Fuze Foundation provides a meaningful service for everyone, regardless of race, belief, or religion. We cater to diverse needs and interests, incorporating religious rituals and beliefs. In times of grief, we strive to foster respect and collaboration amongst individuals of different beliefs, honouring loved ones with unity and inclusivity.
Purpose 3: Promoting Religious Harmony
At The Fuze Foundation, we promote religious harmony and respect by working harmoniously with people of different beliefs. We understand that grief is personal, and we do not impose strict guidelines on Funeral ceremonies. Our focus is on offering support and understanding during these challenging times.
Purpose 4: Supporting Families in Need
The Fuze Foundation is committed to preventing and alleviating poverty, a devastating hardship faced by many families. We offer Funeral Ceremonies (Celebrant services only) free of charge to support bereaved families. Additionally, we collaborate with social enterprises to provide knowledge and resources for low-cost alternative funerals and memorable ceremonies. Our mission is to ensure no family is burdened by the weight of Funeral Poverty, offering solace and support in their greatest time of need.
Purpose 5: Supporting Charities – Our Commitment to Financial Aid
At The Fuze Foundation, we believe in making a positive impact on charitable organisations. We provide financial support and actively promote their invaluable work. Our funds are accumulated through fundraising activities organised by our team and a percentage of fees from all legal marriage ceremonies. We also share knowledge and information, amplifying the reach of these honourable causes. Through a democratic decision-making process, we select charities to support each year, ensuring our unwavering commitment to uplifting communities through meaningful contributions.
In 2022 we supported CHAS, SAMH and Scottish Cot Death Trust and gave back an amazing total of £15,601.
