Alex is the people’s person; the person you want to be by your side, whether it would be in sadness for support; or in happiness for laughter. Therefore, it was a natural career step in becoming a celebrant with Fuze ceremonies.
Alex says being a humanist celebrant will continue to allow him to meet amazing people, hear amazing stories of their life and help people make or relive memories. Alex believes making people happy is the greatest gift you can give someone.
No ceremony should be the same. It is that person’s special day and with the ability to listen to every special detail in the person’s life, Alex will create that memorable day.
Much of his career has been bringing memories of happiness, joy, fun and laughter to people. From organising major music events to DJing in all over the world. A known DJ in the Northern Soul, Indie, Punk, SKA music and the Scooter Scene.
His personality and appearance are one you will love from start. A modern look that everyone will talk about. In his spare time he is a big fitness fanatic, from core fitness to walking and running.
He lives with his wife and his dog Elvis and shares every activity in his life with them. He is also a big supporter of Cancer Research UK and other charities, which he has helped to raise much needed money over the years.
"After postponing our wedding day from 2020 to 2022 we lost our original registrar which meant we had to look around for a celebrant to marry us. We were unaware of Fuze Ceremonies and were kindly given the link to their website to see who would be available for our wedding day. As soon as we read Alex's profile and interests we just knew he was the man to oversee our vows. He contacted us right away to discuss our expectations for the day, as well as met up with us to go over what would be required from us for the ceremony. The key factor for us was having a celebrant who was alternative, like myself, my husband & our wedding day in general. Alex's style and musical interests were the winner for us. Alex married us on 23rd July 2022 in our back garden. The ceremony overall was personal, natural, fun and had our guests full of laughter which is all we could have hoped for on our special day. "Alex conducted our ceremony at Dryburgh abbey in the Scottish Borders. He was absolutely superb. We had several phonecalls to arrange a ceremony that was unique and personalised to us. He was really organised and made everything really easy. We had a sand ceremony that included all the children in the celebrations, and the quaich which was amazing. All our guests commented on what a fabulous ceremony it was. Lots of laughs and a couple of tears shed as well. I would recommend Alex 1000%. He was fabulous throughout. A great day!!!!" - Amanda
