Project Description

“Life is a great big canvas and you should throw all the paint on it you can.”

Danny Kaye

Jean firmly believes that life is for the living, the ups and the downs and celebrating that life at its end is so very important.

Capturing the essence of a loved one’s life means remembering all aspects; the hard times and sadness that we all encounter but also the happy times, the triumphs and the achievements. Our loved ones lives deserve to be at the centre of our thoughts, remembered, loved and cherished and that’s what she hopes to achieve when creating her funeral ceremonies.

Jean has enjoyed working in a support role for over 30 years as a teacher supporting families whose children have additional needs. She runs, mainly with her two dogs for company, is in a walking group with friends, loves swimming and being outdoors. She loves her arts and crafts, she draws, paints and sews, is an avid reader but especially loves time together with family and friends.

Jean is available for funerals across the Lothians, Edinburgh, Borders, the central belt or wherever required, throughout Scotland.
