While waiting for the ceremony to start, Sam stayed with Tom, chatting away and keeping him calm, despite an extended delay for the arrival of the wedding party. "I wish we could give 10 stars not five!! Sam was our celebrant in marrying me and my best friend Kate at Broxmouth Courtyard on 11 May 24. We met Sam numerous times to tell her our couple story, which she loved! After the first meeting, Kate and I knew we had absolutely landed on our feet in finding Sam as we knew straight away how devoted and committed she would be to making our ceremony perfect, and that it was. All our guests shared with us how Sam had them laughing and crying in the space of 5 minutes. She conducted our ceremony without fault. Kate was a little nervous on the morning of, after speaking to Sam it calmed her down so much. Sam suggested me and Kate did a first look to ease the nerves and it was easily the most memorable part of our day. We couldn’t have found a nicer person to marry us. Thank you again Sam!! "From originally choosing a different celebrant initially to conduct our wedding, due to illness we were offered Samantha Conroy to perform the ceremony instead. At first we were worried as we didn’t get to choose her based on her profile, and weren’t sure if Sam would be the right fit - how wrong we were! We met Sam shortly after, and both commented on how lovely and thorough she was! We bonded over our love for dogs, and no question or idea was too silly. Unfortunately due to busy schedules (on our end) and a family bereavement, there was no opportunity to meet Sam face to face before the wedding. However, once I stepped out of my wedding car it was the warmest introduction, and as if we had met her before! She made us feel relaxed and talked us through the structure of the ceremony and how we could personalise this to suit us. She listened to what we wanted and suggested things that would work well too like the quaich this was a brilliant touch and really represented us as a couple! Sam was so easy to talk to and she really got to know us and our girls on a personal level and this really showed in our ceremony. The stories she shared about us was told in such a funny heartwarming way you could have sworn she was with us when they happened!
