This venue speaks for itself!
In my opinion, one of the nicest aspects of being a Celebrant, apart from meeting and working
closely with the lovely couple, is going along to spend time in a beautiful venue, where the couple’s
vision of how their big day should look, becomes a reality.
In Scotland we are truly spoiled for choice when it comes to spectacular wedding venues in the UK,
with some of the most breath-taking views and surroundings.
Recently, I had the immense pleasure of performing the marriage ceremony of the now
Mr and Mrs Cameron, at the truly stunning Gamefield in Crieff. Gamefield is nestled in the Ochertyre
Estate within the Perthshire hills and not only has the most spectacular views and gardens, the
house itself is a pretty special place. The décor is tasteful and modern and the facilities are first class.
It really does have a lavish 5-star interior.
The venue can be hired exclusively for many types of events, such as family holidays, special
occasions and major celebrations. The main house sleeps up to 10, with an additional self-catering
apartment also available, comprising two double bedrooms. (Chef and full catering services are also
available).
The happy couple chose Gamefield as they wanted an intimate wedding with their nearest and
dearest and had also hired a marquee which was situated at the bottom of the garden, where the
all-important evening meal and celebrations were to be held.
The ceremony was held within the main house and as the sunlight poured in the windows, it was a
very special and emotional ceremony, and one which I really enjoyed.
So, if you are looking for a venue that allows you and your guest to enjoy a little bit of luxury and
gives you the freedom to hold a celebration your own way, then Gamefield might just be the place
for you…
Oh, and did I mention that it also has a hot tub?!
