Project Description

Cindy Cosgrove – Wedding & Naming Celebrant

“My favourite part of the ceremony? The moment the couple’s eyes meet each other’s as they enter to walk up the aisle! It’s priceless and you can just feel the LOVE!”.

I love the freedom having a Humanist Ceremony allows couples. We are so lucky in Scotland to marry pretty much anywhere. I have had the pleasure of marrying couples in some of the most unique and beautiful locations. From castles, to gardens, hotels, country houses, intimate restaurants and even Loch Side, it’s important to me that everything about the ceremony reflects the couple.

With a First Class Honours Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management Cindy has been working with Fuze Ceremonies and on behalf of the Fuze Foundation since 2012. She has a passion to make a difference and is always keen for a new challenge.
When she’s not marrying couples and conducting ceremonies Cindy works for the charity SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health). As part of the fundraising team Cindy looks after community fundraising across Scotland and supports individuals who want to fundraise to support Scotland’s mental health.

Not one to shy away from a challenge, in amongst fundraising and conducting ceremonies Cindy enjoys taking part in several events to support various charities. You can often find her racking up the mileage in her trainers and she has completed 4 marathons to date including the London Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon, Stirling Marathon and most recently Mhor Marathon!

All of this coupled with her Humanist beliefs and genuine drive for helping others, training as a Humanist marriage celebrant was a natural progression for Cindy and she feels honored to be able to help couples celebrate and commemorate life’s milestones.

Originally from the Highlands of Scotland but now based in Glasgow, Cindy is happy to conduct ceremonies in Ayrshire (North, South and East), Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East and West Dunbartonshire, North and South Lanarkshire, the Greater Glasgow area and Inverness-shire.

You can see Cindy in action here too – Heather & Ross at Cornhill Castle or Aimee & Scott’s Wedding

What people have said about Cindy

“Such a special day! Cindy Cosgrove was a joy to work with and we knew we wanted her to marry us from our first Skype chat. Easy to speak to and a great listening so made the ceremony incredibly personal and completely put us at ease when we meet the day before the wedding. Couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Fuze and Cindy.”  The Frasers

Honestly can’t recommend you enough! Is there a page we can recommend just Cindy Cosgrove to the world!? Because if there is, 6/5 stars from us!” Mr & Mrs Paul

“Thank you so much Cindy we had an amazing day. Thank you again, you made he ceremony so special to the four of us, thank you again!” Audrey and Gary

“Cindy, Ian and I were so very happy with the ceremony you conducted and all our family and friends thought it was just beautiful. It really did move them tears.  We were also relieved to read that you enjoyed the evening and it was the least we could do to have you there and celebrate with us. Thank you again Cindy from the bottom of our hearts, for all your hard work and efforts. May you continue to prosper and bring joy into others lives too. Our very best wishes to a lovely lady.”  Millie and Ian
