Funeral Tourism? Really?!

There is nothing ghoulish or strange about visiting a graveyard whist on holiday. Many people do, to pay respect to loved ones. However there is an increasing trend, in part caused by the massive growth in genealogy, for people to seek out cemeteries, whilst on holiday.

However, in some countries there has been a recent trend for people to cashing in on their loved ones funeral ceremonies, charging tourists to watch a ceremony – especially if it involves animal sacrifice. There are arguments for and against the ethics of such practices.
