A magnificent occasion!

I was honoured to solemnise a wedding ceremony within the stunning grounds of Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull on Saturday 2nd of June, and had the privilege of meeting Sir Lachlan MacLean.

The castle and grounds are both breath taking and beautifully peaceful and thankfully the sun shone down on us throughout the afternoon, plus there was enough of a breeze to keep the dreaded midgies at bay!

The ceremony itself was an emotional occasion for all involved and the view throughout was magnificent.

I still find conducting ceremonies in such spectacular locations an immense pleasure and hugely rewarding, how could I not after all? And as it was my first time on the Island, I saw it at it’s absolute best!
