description

Coming from a restaurant background, John has gained a wealth of experience working with the public and decided to make the leap into the world of Celebranting three years ago.  Since then, he's never looked back! John says "it’s a wonderful job conducting ceremonies in some of the most beautiful venues in Scotland, where the bridal party and guests are in great spirits and I get to share in the euphoria."

John has been married for a mahoosive 25 years and has two beautiful girls, not to forget his gorgeous fur-baby, Dave the Groodle (retriever/poodle), who brings him joy every single day.  When he's not Celebranting and walking Dave, John loves to snowboard, road cycle, and cyclo cross, and is also involved in his local Amateur Dramatics and was last to be seen on stage when he appeared in Kipps (Half a Sixpence) where he had two parts, chalk, and cheese, one a wealthy architect called Mr. Maxwell, the other Uncle Bert, the main characters surrogate father.

For John, marriage is a big commitment, which he takes seriously and realises it takes more than love to bind a couple together. John loves getting to know couples, sharing in their happiness and delivering unique Ceremonies with his signature, relaxed, laid back warm and welcoming style, laced with smiles and lots of laughter. Most couples he's married have witnessed him getting emotional, he can't help it : )
