Joanne decided to undertake the training to become a celebrant as it feels like a true calling to her. Being an optimistic, approachable woman who loves to meet new people, she feels this is a role that will always bring her great joy. Joanne has always enjoyed writing and put’s her skills and training to great use, letting her creative juices flow!
Based in Glenrothes, Fife, Joanne is an out-going, passionate, and warm-hearted individual who can always be found wearing a smile on her face. She loves all things organization.
Joanne has worked in elderly care for several years and has been lucky enough to see first-hand life-long partners who have grown old together, whose love has never faded. To be there at the beginning of a couple’s journey as a married couple is something Joanne finds very rewarding.
Joanne is a very adventurous individual who is not afraid to try new experiences and think outside of the box. She understands that each couple is unique and aims to ensure each couple’s personality shines through on their special day. One of Joanne’s main objectives is to turn a couple’s pre-wedding butterflies into wedding day bliss, joy, laughter, and love.
"Being engaged for 15 years, we decided the time was right to make everything legal. We wanted to get married but didn’t particularly want a wedding. Checking the calendar we discovered my 50th birthday was a Friday and decided to combine the two events. Not knowing anything about the legalities of the where’s and when’s etc, we found Fuze Ceremonies. Having read through all the celebrant details for our area (so much choice and someone for everyone), we chose Joanne and set about putting our plan in place. From our initial contact with Joanne, we knew we’d made the right choice. Joanne’s enthusiasm and support from the get go was a huge reassurance. We had decided to actually get married on the night of the party and not tell anyone until the ceremony itself. Joanne, without hesitation, agreed to an 8pm wedding and as it was 80’s theme, got in to the spirit of the night with us and ‘dressed appropriately’. So much so, none of the guests questioned who she was!! I really can’t thank Joanne enough for her help and reassurance throughout the process.
