Kayreen worked as a Civil Servant for over 20 years and has vast experience helping others and public speaking. She loves meeting new people and her friendly, open personality will soon have you feeling that you are talking to an old friend. If she is honest, she will tell you that she is really nosy, she enjoys hearing everyone’s story and working to make each ceremony unique and special to them.

Her journey to become a celebrant began after attending Humanist ceremonies. It resonated with her how fun and individual the weddings were and that the funerals were a celebration of that person’s journey through life. She wants to be able to bring that comfort and joy to the people she works with.

She also works part time in the family Blacksmith business and is fascinated with myths and folktales and related to this work. Everyone has heard of being married over the anvil and horseshoes being gifted to the newlyweds for luck. She wants to share this ancient tradition and is able to make it an option for her to conduct your ceremony over her own anvil with hammer and lucky horseshoes.
