After attending a number of Humanist ceremonies, Terry explored Humanism and he identified that his own values and beliefs were totally aligned. This is when Terry decided to train as a Celebrant. Terry does believe that humans evolved naturally, in a society where human rights, free speech, democracy, fairness, and inclusion are essential. Terry’s personal values have been developed over his life and he is a naturally kind, caring and compassionate person.

Terry has had a career in a number of sectors including social care, retail, hospitality, and finance. His experience also extends to volunteering in local communities for over 20 years. All of these roles have involved working with people, communicating effectively, and building strong and meaningful relationships. For Terry, it’s about listening and engaging with others to get to best out of everyone.

Everyone has different interests, skills, talents, and ambitions and what makes us happy can change through life experience and when we grow. Terry knows that he has all of the skills to work with others to create a special, unique and unforgettable ceremony. He would show respect, understanding, and professionalism and understand what is important to the people involved in the ceremony.
