Run Away Brides Do it again!
Not content with running 10K races in Wedding Dresses to raise money for charity, the team behind Fuze Ceremonies are in the running again. They are delighted to be one of five companies in the final to be named Scotland’s most promising start-up by The Enterprise Challenge 2013.
The competition, organised by business support specialists LES, was officially launched by Fergus Ewing MSP, Minister for Energy, Enterprise & Tourism on May 1st. LESL is an Enterprise Trust committed to providing benefits to the economy by delivering services to both public and private sector customers.
Fuze have been recognised a Scottish start up with a business plan already at an advanced stage and with the capacity for rapid growth. Soon they will offer not just ceremonies but all Inclusive Wedding Packages to meet the need for low-cost, low-stress ceremonies. They plan to expand initially in Scotland, then throughout the UK.
Anne Widdop, founding director of Fuze Ceremonies, says ‘we are all really excited to have been selected for the finals of the Enterprise Challenge 2013. Winning the Enterprise Challenge would help us grow our business, expand our services and continue to create employment across the UK.’
The Prize
The prize for the winning company will include a minimum six month rent-free period in one of the three business incubators managed by LESL, plus a full business support package with expert mentoring and specialist business advice, introductions to potential sales routes and investors, free business software, and free legal, financial and HR advice.
