The Fuze Foundation is a grant-giving Trust established in 2012 to provide assistance to the disadvantaged in our society and to enable our celebrants to conduct humanist Marriages in Scotland.
Income from the work of the Fuze Ceremonies team of Humanist Celebrants supports the foundation. The Foundation provides grants to humanitarian Organisations to support the work they do.
The Foundation is something that is very close to our hearts here at Fuze, and we love being able to help others through the money we raise. So far we have raised money for ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer’, ‘CHAS (The Children’s Hospice Association)’ and ‘Lochaber Hope’. Not content with the money we raise through our Humanist Celebrants, we have been topping up the Foundations coffers with a series of very successful dress auctions. We can not thank everyone who has been involved in these events enough.
But that’s not all;
Some of the team also help their own choice of charities, by taking part in some very different challenges.
A number of the team took part in a rather soggy Women’s 10k, all in wedding dresses, well we had to make it a little more difficult……..Morag and Cindy took part in this years Mud & Stuff at Cloybank in aid of ‘Strathcarron Hospice’, just a week before they both took on the Tough Mudder in Dalkeith raising money for ‘Help for Heroes’. Morag enjoyed it so much, she has already signed up for BOTH days next year.

In addition with the advancement of secularism in Scotland, it is important that those with humanist beliefs have a voice. We recognise and support this through the Foundation.
Supporting the advancement of human rights is key to religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity of the nation.
In today’s society we recognise that there are many in need of our help, whether as a result of youth, age, ill health, financial hardship and many other disadvantages.
