description

My passion is weddings!!

I love meeting with couples, getting to know them and helping them plan such a significant day in their lives. I have worked in the wedding industry for over ten years as an Events and Wedding Planner, working with couples to ensure their vision of their big day becomes a reality.

Having been involved in many weddings over the years, I always enjoyed the ceremonies performed by Humanists, they seemed to resonate more with me. I enjoyed how personalised these ceremonies were to the couples involved, making for a more captivating wedding ceremony. Having met Anne from Fuze Ceremonies, through working in the weddings Industry, I knew the exact person to contact when it came to organising my own wedding. Anne married me and my husband in October 2014, performing a beautiful, personalised ceremony and one that we will always cherish.

Now working as a humanist celebrant, I want to use my experience, passion and professionalism to help create a meaningful ceremony that you both will remember forever.

My other passion in life is travel!!! It is something I get extremely excited about, I love researching new places to visit, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people.

My husband and I are fortunate enough to have travelled across the world together and visited some truly amazing places. We spent a year living and travelling around the whole of Australia, we backpacked through Thailand and Indonesia, spent a Summer island hopping in Greece and have visited many European countries and other world-wide destinations in-between. One of our adventures took us to New Zealand where we had an incredible two years working, travelling and living in this amazing country. During our time in New Zealand we found out we had a mini hitch-hiker travelling with us. We returned home to Scotland in the Summer of 2016 and our beautiful baby girl, Fearne, was born soon after.

Fearne changed our whole lives the day we met her, her presence has encouraged us to be the best possible versions of ourselves. What she hasn’t changed is our passion to travel, thankfully this little addition to our tribe loves to travel too. At eight weeks old she flew back to New Zealand with us to live for six months. We had a great time living and travelling throughout this country, making memories we can one day share with her. During our trip we spent some time travelling in our campervan where she was truly in her element.

Then in 2018 we were very lucky to receive the news that a new member to our tribe was on his way. Our beautiful baby boy, Torran, was born in August 2018. This little boy hit the headline news on the very first day he arrived in the world. However, this pretty incredible tale is one I will have to tell you when I meet you! And, going by his crazy entrance into this world and by the trips this wee guy has already taken, it appears Torran joins in with the family’s love of travel.
So, as you can tell my three passions in life are weddings, travel and being a mummy. Weddings have taught me to be approachable and organised, travel has taught me to be open-minded and laid-back, parenting has taught me that I can function as a fairly ‘normal’ human being on very little sleep!

My passions aside, I want to hear about what makes you happy, what your adventures have been as a couple and the love that’s brought you to this stage in your relationship.

It is my goal to make you feel at ease, to ensure your plans are put together with care and efficiency and to create wonderful memories with which to start this new chapter in your life together.
