On top of The Fuze Foundation amazing give back of £2100, Quarter 3 benefited greatly from Fuze Ceremonies Celebrant, Gina Williams’ incredible fundraising efforts cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia in November. Gina’s 400 km cycle ride raised an outstanding £1,539 bringing the overall amount of give back for Quarter 3 to £3,709.

Couples who choose a Humanist Wedding Ceremony conducted by Fuze Ceremonies are supporting our ongoing give back to good causes as a portion of their fee is donated to The Fuze Foundation. Our three charity partners for 2022, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), Scottish Association of Mental Health (SAMH) and Scottish Cot Death Trust , will benefit greatly from our donation which will enable them to continue the great work they provide across Scotland.

George McLean, Fuze Brand Ambassador and Morag Webster, Fuze Foundation Trustee, recently met with representatives from the charities and revealed their individual give back amounts.

CHAS Trust Fundraiser Rebecca Addison explained; “Everyone here at CHAS has been absolutely blown away by the level of support we have received from The Fuze Foundation this year. Gina’s recent fundraising challenge traversing hundreds of miles on a bike trail leading from Vietnam to Cambodia was incredible and her efforts to raise funds to support children with life-shortening conditions across Scotland are inspiring.  The support of The Fuze Foundation is making a huge difference to children and their families across Scotland and I wish to thank everyone involved again for all their incredible efforts.”

Scottish Cot Death Trust Fundraising & Communications Officer Michael Parkes said;

“A huge thanks to The Fuze Foundation for yet another successful period of fundraising. To think the organisation have raised a four-figure sum for the Scottish Cot Death Trust in all 3 quarters of our partnership is just phenomenal!  We’re so grateful for each and every donation we receive from Fuze’s wedding fees, as part of their commitment to their partner charities. If that wasn’t enough, Gina’s Vietnam – Cambodia Cycle in November was such an amazing and unique way to support the Trust. Her photos and stories from the trip were so inspiring.  As always, The Fuze Foundation have pulled out all the stops in making our charity feel a part of their journey. Even going as far as our virtual cheque presentation today! Thank you for helping us continue our vital work as Scotland’s only charity dedicated to sudden unexpected death in infancy (SUDI).”
