Fuze 10th Birthday & Celebrant Awards 2022
The Fuze team gathered together on the 28th April 2022 at the Trades Hall of Glasgow to celebrate their 10th Birthday and Celebrant Awards 2022. The glitz and glam of the evening was amazing and with so many of the Celebrant team in attendance, it really made the night so much more special.

The Fuze Celebrant Awards 2022!
The inaugural Fuze Ceremonies Awards event was a terrific success. The entire Fuze team were involved in the planning from the start with the awards categories decided from their suggestions.
The grandeur of the Trades Hall is captured perfectly here by Daniel from Daniel Mainland Photography, who supplied his services for FREE on the night – This was in addition to the NO FEE venue hire from Elaine at the Trades Hall, along with the FREE of charge room dressing by LBS Event Design and Wedding Planners which really set the tone for the celebrations – I mean, check out that FUZE sign!

Directors Reflections & Lifetime Achievement Awards!
Fuze Directors Anne Widdop, Morag Webster and Laura Widdop reflected back on the first 10 years of Fuze and shared their passion and commitment for the next 10 and beyond.
Laura said; “We would never have been able to picture this successful journey without our wonderful team, family and friends. Anne, Morag and I value everyone who is here to share this special evening with us. An extra special thanks to everyone that has helped put tonight together and to our fantastic sponsors.”
Morag noted; “Fuze has certainly covered a long and evolutionary journey since the beginning, you just need to look around the room tonight to see that. We started with a million dreams, hopes and immense enthusiasm and even after 10 years nothing has changed, except the fact that we have made our dreams a reality and have new ones now to go after.”
Anne explained; “Turning back to our wonderful team, and even though we have already recognised the amazing work our team does with 8 awards, we felt it would be fitting to recognise another two Celebrants who have been on the Fuze journey right from the start. They have been massive supporters and advocates of Fuze in a variety of guises.”
Anne added; “Between them they have conducted 1000’s of ceremonies and have touched and enriched the lives of so many others through their work as Celebrants. Their passion in their roles is very clear and they have been a great support sharing their experiences and wealth of knowledge, earning the respect of their peers and have become role models to some of our newer members.
It means so much to recognise Gillian Phillips and George Smith tonight with the
Fuze Lifetime Achievement Award.”
