The Fuze Foundation was delighted to present our second quarterly give back cheque, in conjunction with The Middleton Foundation, to our 2022 chosen charities
Fuze Celebrate £6,000 of ‘give back’
Couples who choose a Humanist Wedding Ceremony conducted by Fuze Ceremonies are supporting our ongoing give back to good causes as a portion of their fee is donated to The Fuze Foundation. Quarter two has seen us able to donate a combined £3,000 (£1,000 each) to our 2022 charities. See our first quarter efforts HERE.
Our three charity partners for 2022, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), Scottish Association of Mental Health (SAMH) and Scottish Cot Death Trust , will now benefit greatly from this enhanced donation which will enable them to continue the great work they provide across Scotland.
Our total was then ‘match funded’ by the amazing Middleton Foundation through their Charity Escapes arm, as part of their Great Christmas Raffle initiative. This kind gesture resulted in a total give back donation of………………..
£6,000 (£2,000 each)
The Middleton Foundation are a vehicle for philanthropy, whose purpose is to support a variety of charities, and to make a significant impact over time. Through Charity Escapes they aim to match-make companies willing to donate prizes to charities hosting fundraising events, providing both donor and charity with a range of benefits tailored to suit their needs.
Jeremy & Catherine Middleton (pictured above), The Middleton Foundation founders commented;
“We set up The Great Christmas Raffle so charities have an easily accessible fundraising campaign every year to help them raise much needed funds. However, it is also a great initiative for businesses to donate to charities, which is exactly what Fuze Ceremonies have done. By donating to 3 incredible charities in CHAS, Scottish Cot Death Trust & SAMH, they’ve had their donations match funded by The Middleton Foundation.”
George McLean, Fuze Brand Ambassador recently met with representatives from the charities and revealed their individual give back amounts.

CHAS Trust Fundraiser Rebecca Addison explained;“CHAS are delighted to have the support of The Fuze Foundation and feel honoured that you’ve chosen to share your tenth year of giving with us. We were blown away by your recent announcement that you have partnered with the Middleton Foundation to double your donation to CHAS as well as hearing how your team have been raising funds for us. All of these efforts help us to ensure that no family faces the death of their child alone. Many thanks again and please keep up your amazing work!”

Scottish Cot Death Trust Fundraising & Communications Officer said; “Thanks so much to Fuze for their continued support of our charity. It’s been another hugely successful few months for our partnership. We appreciate how summer is wedding season, and the busiest time of year for Fuze. Not only has this been extremely beneficial for their organisation and the couples they marry, the Scottish Cot Death Trust and Fuze’s other 2 partner charities have also reaped the rewards from the very kind donations from Fuze’s wedding fees. A special thanks also to Charity Escapes and The Middleton Foundation for very kindly matching Fuze’s fundraising efforts. This amazing £2,000 donation will help our charity continue to support families devastated by sudden unexpected death in infants (SUDI).“
